Simon Curtis release remix of "Flesh" and new track "Starlight"

Simon Curtis is one of the best thing that ever happened to underground pop. His first album 8-Bit Heart was released for free and it was amazing! His new album RA is equally amazing.

Just yesterday, Curtis revamped his whole website and with it he released a remix of his amazing techno-pop single "Flesh." And it was produced by none other than Vincent Frank aka Frankmusik aka Vincent Did It. And it's completely free at his official website!

The original "Flesh" was a techno-y affair that had tons of glitchy vocals during the verses and a flasetto-laden chorus. The song was glorious! But this VDI remixes makes it completely different. Not better, not worse. The Vincent Did It remix of this track basically is a whole new song. Gone are the sick beats of the song and in come the VDI winding synthesizers to invade the track for good. The remix of this song is more of a rave anthem than a bedroom ditty, as the original was. I still perefer the original, but I definitely love this remix.

Also Curtis released a brand-new ballad "Starlight." Released through ArjanWrites, this song is a ballad unlike any other. The delicated instrumentation contrasts against Curtis' heavily edited vocals perfectly. It created a harsh, ironic twist to this twinkling ballad. It's beautiful or sarcastic, it all depends on which way you look at it.

That Simon Curtis reign just won't let up.
